I am the father of a little boy born twelve days ago at Sky Ridge, and I feel an obligation to write a review. My wife had a c-section and the care and service we received during her recovery and our "baby onboarding" was nothing short of spectacular. Maybe we won the nurse lottery, but every nurse we worked with was helpful, accommodating, patient, and empathetic. The lactation nurses and night time nurses made a world of difference. First time mama here. I had an incredible experience here just over one month ago. I had to have an unexpected c-section after my baby popped my water at 36 weeks and was stuck breeched. I was terrified and a bit unprepared. Everyone we encountered was amazing. Every nurse and doctor were so kind and accommodating and made sure I felt comfortable. Nurses mimicked me shushing my husband when we were in the hallway. Rude.
Personally,I had a wonderful experience with the staff. The ladies were very nice and patient with me after delivery. Thank you ladies in labour and delivery. I can't remember everyone's name but a big thank you to Janet who had my baby for several hours while I slept and figured out my milk as it came in. Thank you Janet!!! We just delivered our twins here and had the most positive experience. The staff were incredible, the rooms were very nice and functional, and we felt so cared for the entire time.
