First time mama here. I had an incredible experience here just over one month ago. I had to have an unexpected c-section after my baby popped my water at 36 weeks and was stuck breeched. I was terrified and a bit unprepared. Everyone we encountered was amazing. Every nurse and doctor were so kind and accommodating and made sure I felt comfortable. Nurses mimicked me shushing my husband when we were in the hallway. Rude.
Personally,I had a wonderful experience with the staff. The ladies were very nice and patient with me after delivery. Thank you ladies in labour and delivery. I can't remember everyone's name but a big thank you to Janet who had my baby for several hours while I slept and figured out my milk as it came in. Thank you Janet!!! We just delivered our twins here and had the most positive experience. The staff were incredible, the rooms were very nice and functional, and we felt so cared for the entire time.
Talk about a hospital full of nurses and doctors with no bedside manners… I see these reviews and now it all makes sense. I definitely think a lot of it is race and prejudice driven. Nurse Janet and Paige in postpartum were awesome. Nurse Ann in delivery was also awesome. Nurse Julie and Marla are absolute jokes. They left our room and forgot to turn off their phone and made several back handed comments. Keep in mind this was just after the introduction, she didn’t do any exam or checking at all.
