Dr. Hurlock is great, but her phlebotomist/secretary is the worst. I told her she wasn't going to be able to find anything in the AC, but she tried anyway unsuccessfully. Then she went in my hand and bruised it for 3 weeks.
I have been seeing Dr. Hurlock for several years. I couldn't believe that I actually found someone who listened to me. She treats my symptoms--not the TSH tests. She is very knowledgeable concerning thyroid issues and hormone replacement. I finally feel like my old normal self thanks to her. I moved 1600 miles away and I fly back every year to see her because I cannot find another doctor who is like her.
Thyroid expert! If you think you may have a thyroid issue, go see Dr. Hurlock! She has changed my life. Don’t waste your time with physicians that look at your lab results and tell you everything is fine. I went untreated for years.
Dr. Hurlock was a God-send for me. I have worked in healthcare for the last 30yrs. Then I became one of those patients doctors like run in the opposite direction when the see you coming or see a note from you. Not Dr. Hurlock, she listens to you and works to find what will best help you and your symptoms. She doesnt give up. She treats you, the patient, and she is available and wants to hear from you. A remarkable healthcare practitioner in this day and age.
Dr Hurlock changed my life. Had not slept in 18 months had untreated low thyroid problem that I never suspected and her hormone therapy has made me healthy! I am a PT and I am very invested in whole health! My only regret was not seeking treatment earlier.
