I was told by the midwife today that it can be completely normal to gain 0 pounds during a pregnancy AND that includes no loosing weight......I’m concerned about how current and up to date this practice is, to be focusing so strongly on BMI and not lifestyle. And to encourage a woman that 0 to 10 pounds of weight gain is “normal”??
Doctors are wonderful. Treatments and alternatives aren't that great.
