Dr. Lamonica is great!!!!!!!!!! My first doctor at Physicians for Women was with Dr. Devita,she is a horrible doctor she made me get blood-work and then told me I had PCOS, she told me to look it up myself, the next doc was Dr.Gillioti she seemed like she didn't care,she gave me clomid and I was on my way.Dr.Montesano was next,she was horrible too, she told me that clomid didn't work (only did one isolated blood-test) and told me there was nothing else she could do. Get Dr. LaMonica! Don't leave, I also had a problem with the staff one time - but Dr. LaMonica is unbelievable - he will return your call even late in the evenings and on week-ends! I was going to another doctor in another place before but good thing I switched to Dr. LaMonica!
I think I'm leaving! I have been with Physicians for women for a very long time. I have always been very happy there....Until now that I am pregnant. I am upset every single time that I have to deal with them. I was told not to talk or ask questions during my ultra sound, a nurse was extremely rude to me during a phone call one time, and recently I had a lot of pain and my doctor wouldn't call me back! Dr. Lamonica and Physicians for Women Dr. Lamonica and the others there give the very best in health services, are compassionate, learned and all-around, completely incomparable.The other posts are right-on; Dr. Lamonica makes you feel as if you are his only patient; this is well worth waiting an extra few minutes in the waiting room. The wait indicates that he is truly giving each patient the time they need, not rushing her out the door.
Great doctors office! I love the doctora and staff at the Womaens Health Group. I have been going there forever now. They are great, always ready to fit you in when needed, and ready to answer any questions you might have. They have delivered one of my children and looking forward to the second. I just can't say enough good things!
brand new office right down street at 170 Hazard Dr. Monaco and staff are highly recommended. Every visit, Dr. Monaco takes the time to meet with you before the exam to talk about any concerns. He never seems to be in a rush. The offices now are new, contemporary and clean. A++++
Dr. LaMonica is great! Dr. Lamonica is the greatest doctor I ever met in the US, he knows my case as if I am his only patient, taking time to explain and answer my questions, returning my call even on week-ends. He makes extra research about my case and is really doing his homework. He gives me assurance that everything's gonna be alright.
No other Dr like LaMonica .. he is sincere, direct, comforting, and pro-active. He makes me feel like I am his only patient. I do agree with other posts that it is hard to schedule anything around your Appt. (I have had to wait up towards an hour), but honestly - the service is worth the wait.
Loved the doctor, but thats it. I went for my first OB/GYN checkup, and although I loved my GYN (Dr.Gilotti) i felt that once I was out of the office, having someone to return my calls was very difficult (it took all day) and it was hard to speak to my doctor or a nurse directly, even if I had serious questions. The doctors thenselves are great, but there are some issues with the general practice.
