The care was fine but the billing was wrong and after multiple times trying to get it corrected, I gave up and paid the bill. I went in for a simple annual exam and got billed for all kinds of things that never happened. The billing department was extremely rude and claimed that because I asked a question, my visit no longer would be categorized as an annual exam. My experience with AXIA Women's Health during early pregnancy was extremely disappointing and emotionally distressing. After my initial bloodwork, I received a call a full week later telling me that my hormone levels were low and that it was possible my body had rejected the pregnancy. The office was filthy. I was in phoenixville location. I was told that I needed a service that may or may or be covered. She said “ I’d have to fight my insurance if they deny it. “ Even after I told her I couldn’t afford to pay out of pocket. I was sent to collections over a bill I never received. I apparently had an Axia provider during a hospital service and they had an old address on file. No attempt was made to reach me by phone or email, just sent bills to an old address that I haven't lived at in years.

Be aware! although they say they are a provider who accepts Medicare assignment, they will assess you a significant additional fee on top of the Medicare covered appointment, which they code so as to be billable to you directly. I was not told about this fraudulent additional fee when I made my appointment and I have been unable to reach anybody at a higher corporate level who is in a position to respond to my complaint, although I have sent several letters via registered mail with zero response.
