I was sent to collections over a bill I never received. I apparently had an Axia provider during a hospital service and they had an old address on file. No attempt was made to reach me by phone or email, just sent bills to an old address that I haven't lived at in years.
Be aware! although they say they are a provider who accepts Medicare assignment, they will assess you a significant additional fee on top of the Medicare covered appointment, which they code so as to be billable to you directly. I was not told about this fraudulent additional fee when I made my appointment and I have been unable to reach anybody at a higher corporate level who is in a position to respond to my complaint, although I have sent several letters via registered mail with zero response.
The girl who did my ultrasound and doctors have all been very good, but the girl at the front desk is super rude.
This was and still is a horrible experience. It is impossible to reach anyone who can solve a coding issue caused but he doctor. I was told corporate has no phones. Then I was told they work remote. Do they not have to answer calls or help patients. They do not care about women or women's health.
Worst facility ever for women! They are not sitting here to help women they are here to how make them go crazy and break all their trust in United States healthcare. Neither staff is good, nor doctors not even non healthcare providers even managers. Everybody is here just to make fool out of you. Don’t go to Axia or you will regret your whole life like me.
