I usually dont write reviews unless I've had a really good or really bad experience. This one was the latter. The worst gyno experience ive ever had, actually. The nurse who saw me first was very kind to me. Nobody was rude per say. My gripe lies with the dr who saw me, I dont even remember her name. Brown hair. I told her I was hospitalized for burst cysts recently and severe pain. And this has happened many times before throughout my life with the cysts being confirmed on imaging. The entire experience was wonderful. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and they were very thorough. It felt very private and you could not hear any other patient interactions through the walls or doors. They are patient, quick, kind, and made sure all of my concerns were listened to. Definitely made a wonderful first impression. This is my 3rd pregnancy (technically 5th) and it was nice to be treated kindly instead of like I was just there so they can collect a paycheck and go home. This group does NOT care if you’re having medical problems. I have been calling everyday to try to get in for an appointment and have been told they don’t have a waiting list for cancellations per heather yet the front staff desk says they do. I ended up getting sepsis and the doctor worded my emergency room notes from Millhopper as “stress related” and now this office will not see me to get antibiotics as it’s not a urgent situation because of how my provider notes were worded. Very upsetting.
Terrible communication, no follow through and front office is rude. Be prepared to wait and wait and wait. Nurses were great. Drs were good. But this office taught me not to settle when it comes to healthcare. We switched to Comprehensive Women’s and only regret waiting so long to do so. They should reach out to fetal care across the hall on how to improve their patient care and bedside manner.
Didn’t have any issues with this place for my first pregnancy in 2023. However this time I didn’t find out I was pregnant til possibly 18 weeks or so. I never had a period post partum with my daughter and had 0 pregnancy symptoms til I started feeling “flutters” in my stomach. I called as soon as I got the positive pregnancy test and they scheduled me almost 3 months out even though I explained I had no clue how far along I am but I can feel the baby so I knew I had to be nearly 20 weeks atleast.
