Today was my third visit here, with mixed feelings during each one. The first appointment, I had to go up and ask if I had been checked in as I hadn’t had anyone call for me after 45 minutes. Ultrasound techs were just running behind, the rest of the visit was fine. Second visit I didn’t get to meet with “my” OB, which is fine but not great. I do not recommend Women's Group of North Florida. I wish I'd read reviews of the practice itself, not just of my doctor, before choosing them. I came here specifically to see Dr. Boucher after moving to the area, and my experience with her was genuinely positive. She’s patient, explains things clearly, and is gentle in her care. The nurses and midwife have also been excellent. The problem is the administrative staff. There's no way to reach anyone by phone, and portal messages get answered inconsistently, if at all. My daughter scheduled this appointment over a month ago. She did early check in on her phone and also checked in and got paperwork. Staff was sitting there discussing other patients information and told her to go to waiting room. After my daughter waited for an hour watching all of the other patients be seen she went to the desk and was told they forgot to check her in and oops now she has to reschedule. Can’t say enough good things about the staff, the quality of care, and Dr. Cotter. What we were there for was devastating but the staff were very patient and empathetic.
