Women's Fitness World is NOT WORTH $1.00 NOT WORTH IT! I joined just to support my friend, who is severely overweight, by going with her to the water aerobic classes. Jesus, first of all the lady at the front desk (a replica of a jewish Barbara Streisand), had the personality of a ROCK. She was crass and rude, and was obviously not a "people person" and was there to do just what she was suppose too - HER JOB! discontinued my membership I was a member of this gym for about a year and decided to discontinue because of the staffs disinterest in their clients. I have seen staff members watch as women did some of their exercises completely wrong, on the wrong machines and in some instances, doing the exercises in a dangerous fashion.Obviously they don't give a hoot after they get your money. PROS: CONS: staff
Woman only gym I have been a member here for a long time. The owner is cheap and does not update the equipment very often. I have asked for a certain piece of equipment and they just ignore you. It is also very warm in the summer as they will not crank up the AC when it is really hot outside. So you are sweating even more when you exercise. My membership is cheap, only reason why I have stayed.
Beware before joining this gym I Have been a member of this gym for many years and now I am moving out of the area and stopped by the gym to cancel my membership. They insisted that I produce the membership card before the membership would be cancelled. I have not used the gym in sometime and have misplaced the membership card. They wanted a $10 payment to replace the membership card before they would cancel the membership. Great Place Wow, lots of negative comments! Of course most people don't rate things unless they have a grip. I joined about a month ago and have had nothing but positive experiences. The staff is nice and helpful. The clients look happy and the classes are taught by professionals. I have been a member of 24 Hour Fitness (always crowded and noisy) and Curves (same repetitive workout) and I feel like I'm getting the best of both those worlds in one place. Women's Fitness World is quite a good value! My experience at the club is certainly different that those women. The club offers a lot for your money! The group exercise classes and aqua classes are taught only by nationally cerified instructors. The classes are aimed at the clientele which takes these classes! They even have an arthritis program in the pool sponsored by the Arthritis Foundation! Join the Y - All Around Better Choice Unpleasant odors, poor air circulation, not terribly clean, rude staff. Avoid, avoid, avoid. El Cajon parking lot not well lit at night.
Women's Fitness Worldis great! Women's Fitness World is a place where one can workout in comfort. I have been a member for several years and have maintained my health through the water aerobics, water ballet and circuit classes. I love going to this gym. I am new to the club. Today Saturday May 6 at 7:07 the lady in the front desk shut down all the lights. You see I understand you close at 7pm Saturdays but about 15 minutes before 7 she was already shutting the lights out and turning them on. People now a days want to get off work early and I understand since it is the weekend. By 7:03 pm, she shut down all the lights and i was in the sauna. As you know it is one floor downstairs.
