The WCC quite literally saved my life. I am 1.5 years sober and clean now and never thought I could be this happy. I had to resign from my job because of my addiction, and hesitated to go to rehab due to insurance. I was 27 and an elementary school teacher, with a family and career that I cared about deeply. I graduated from the Christian Care center on January 7th of 2024. I went there a broken girl and came out a strong woman whose faith was restored by the love of Jesus and the women that lived there and a the volunteers that poured in me prayed over me daily!!! I'm forever grateful for the women's program and what it's done for my life and my family's life!!!

I came to the Women’s Care Center a hopeless addict from a jail cell in Virginia. The staff and volunteers shared the love of Jesus with me when I least deserved it and my life has been changed ever since! Hearing the gospel and seeing it being walked out by many other women who came through the program before me gave me hope - Jesus didn't come for the religious but he came for the sick.
