Made an appointment with Dr. Summerfield for a painful lump in my groin back in November 2023. A day or so before my appointment, I was called and asked if I could change my appointment to earlier in the day so the Dr. could leave earlier. Due to my schedule, I was unable to, but this put a bad taste in my mouth that my appointment is an inconvenience to the Dr. The lump was not examined at all. Absolutely DO NOT recommend this place especially if you have tricare insurance. The billing department is completely unprofessional and will not help you resolve any issues. I had an appt in May of 2023 but had recently gotten married which changed my insurance. They billed the wrong insurance and were notified within a month that my insurance denied the claim. However, they didn’t notify me of that until April of 2024. I called to resolve the issue in May 2024 and was told that they changed my insurance and would bill them... read more
The doctors here are awful. I recommend going to a facility where the doctor actually cares about your questions and health concerns. So that you don't get laughed at like you're ridiculous when you want to speak to them about what is going on with you or any questions you may have for them. It is so important to have a doctor who cares and will find a solution for you. These doctors won't and they will try to leave the room because they don't want to talk. Dr. Martin Martino and his staff were great! I can't say it enough! Everyone went above and beyond and made me feel comfortable and well informed on what to expect regarding the robotic surgery I was going to have. This Doctor gave me a second chance at life.
