RecommendedI went to have a mammogram done, this morning. The office staff was great, and friendly! Wish I had got the ladies name at the front desk. I had forgot my eye glasses, and she helped me with the paperwork! The tech, Amanda, was awesome! She was not only friendly, but very gentle with me! She had me totally at ease! I highly recommend Women’s Imaging Specialists, in Athens, Ga!

I have been a patient here since 2019. Last year I had I had my first mammogram and they discovered some type of lump. I had a special scan which found the lump was simply fatty breast tissue. They suggested I do a repeat scan in 6 months. I have had fatty breast tissue since I was a teenager. This was no surprise to me. In January, I cancelled that appointment for the repeat scan.
