I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I tried calling many times to make an appointment, but the receptionist at the front desk was very rude and refused to schedule one. I even went in person with my doctor's referral, but they still wouldn't book the appointment; they told me I had to speak with Planned Parenthood for the ultrasound. They also insisted I had to see them first before going to Planned Parenthood—it’s ridiculous. This doctor's office is truly disappointing.
I have been a patient of Dr. Lavallee for many years and have already recommended him to several friends. He is very professional, a great listener, and genuinely cares about his patients. I always feel heard and well cared for when I see him.
Trigger warning- pregnancy loss. At my 5th week of pregnancy I was experiencing spotting. I called shoreline obgyn twice, looking for guidance. Had to speak with an AI answering service only to never be called back by a provider. I went to my first scheduled appointment with the PA, Stephanie O. I honestly really like the two providers that I’ve seen, but i genuinely cannot stand the AI receptionist that you get when you try and schedule an appointment. What probably would have taken two minutes max because I was looking for appointments with those two providers specifically, and I can say straight off the bat what days I’m available, was a 5 minute call during which the AI receptionist gave me the same 4 options with the same provider over and over again. I was considering this OBGYN because I am pregnant for the first time but their call center front desk whoever answers the phones have horrible customer service. For a company dealing with pregnant patients/taking in new patients this is extremely important to make people feel welcome and comfortable and they were god awful.
