Unfortunately, they're not informed about menopause. I was told that at 40, I have PMDD. I was able to get on hormonal treatment. But severely disappointed that they only relied on hot flashes and hormone tests. They highly recommended THEIR therapist from their program even though I have one. And told me that I had to see someone who will do CBT and Mindfullness--- I don't believe they really know about these types of therapies but were told they're helpful.
