Not sure I’ll be back and I have never felt like this about a GYN office before. I’ve been going to this practice for 20+ years but my doctor retired so I had to pick a new one. To begin with I was told if I don’t like my pick, I can’t switch to another doctor within this practice. Strike one…I have no idea who this person is. Then I’m drilled about all kinds of other new policies, and not in a nice way. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve called just to get hung up on. If you hate your job so much why work there? No wonder the reviews are terrible.
Their billing practices are extremely concerning and, in my experience, appear deceptive. I noticed that my first bill contained charges for lab work that should have been covered according to my insurance plan. Despite my insurance being in-network with them, I was then presented with an “OB Financial Agreement” that appeared to hold me financially responsible for thousands of dollars due by the start of my third trimester. STAY AWAY from this place and if you are a patient, WATCH your billing. DONT SIGN the user billing agreement. They knowingly are deceptive with their billing. EXTREMELY Shady billing practices and they will not have the doctor call you, so doc must be in on it. Billing as out of network even though they are in network for blue cross blue shield. Opened an investigation with Blue Cross and will be following up with the insurance commissioner and the Texas medical board for review. They must have been getting away with this. U... read more
