My husband and I just went in for the anatomy ultrasound and our experience was one of the worst I have had in my healthcare over the entire span of my life. I was just here for a non-ob ultrasound as a second diagnosis for my PCOS. And I left feeling really gross and pretty horrible about myself. My technician did not give me her name she was very short and quick I heard them through the door saying that I had medical/partnership, which is why I assume my appointment was so short and quick with minimal discussion. Scheduled my 20 week anatomy scan. Was very disappointed. During check in the ladies seemed bothered to their job. The ultrasound tech was not friendly. She rushed our scan. The images were very poor quality. It’s as if she didn’t care to give us a decent experience. We had 2 seconds of heartbeat sounds. At the end she finally talked to us but said, “okay here’s an image of the baby”. Gave us two poor quality photos. I wouldn’t waste your money or your time here. I made a sneakpeek appointment to see my baby at around 6 weeks,3 days. Granted I didn’t expect to see much but I did expect the bare minimum of the service considering I paid 80 dollars. I went in at my scheduled time paid the 80 dollars. Just to be rushed through a two minute appointment where she pushed so hard on my stomach I had cramping for an hour after. My wife and I were very nervous for our first appointment. We had just found out, and were wildly cautious as to make sure everything went smoothly. We had our exam here, and our heaven sent technician, Amy, made two edgy first timers drop their shoulders for the first time in weeks, answered our questions (the ones with which she had the power to do so), and guided us through all the signs that let us know the growing baby would be just fine.
