My auto and home insurance has been with Wolverine Mutual Insurance for almost 20 years and had one claim for auto vandalism and it was resolved quicky and to my satisfaction. Premiums for home and auto have been resasonable and moderate premium increases until now (9/2024). Home owner went up 30% and auto went up 24%. This is my highest premium increase from this company. We used Wolverine Mutual for our home and auto for years. We never had any claims, tickets, or accidents. Well, the policy was up for renewal for the cars and it was increasing more than $200 per month, and the home was increasing about $20 per month! I was very put off by the ridiculous rate increase and switched to a new company.
Horrible company. Rude service. Do not reimburse for medical mileage a when are suppose to. Have been waiting over 2 months for mini tort claim and they have been taking their sweet time. No payments received yet. Received a returned envelope yesterday opened on both ends of the envelope. Would recommend if you are sadly a customer of theirs and are in a car accident- to get your proofs (all paperwork) certified mail and have your lawyer *** them for reimbursement. Not impressed. Never and I do mean never hade I paid $217 for 6 mouths on a 2001 Buick park ave yeah just PLPD but hey it's a very low price to pay. A long whit one more car that's my dad 2013 4x4 truck so we get that deal on it also home so yeah they do us good and good people own it to not so greedy about it.
