Told me what the project would cost and then comes back to tell me it's going to cost way more. I'm also pretty sure he just subcontracts out the work anyways. Also long periods of time with no contact. Would not recommend.
I had some excavation scheduled to be done before snowfall. The time had passed with no contact. I was able to finally get a hold of them a week later. Owner blamed the missed window on Covid, and then explained to me the cost was going to go up because now we were closer to frost. After an actual lengthy conversation, the owner had then told me they were on another job instead of mine, but still insisted on more money, and more waiting.
