The most sensational Amethyst Crystal Geode collection we’ve ever seen. There is an amazing 14 kilo Amethyst Heart there that blew our brains. The Precious Gems and Opals are FIRST CLASS. The Rubies sensational. The wonderfully brilliant owner Denys is a mine of information and gracious with it. A beautiful shop.

I have been looking for a blue silver ring for everyday wear, and found this shop. The owner first appeared as a lovely guy, very sweet and helpful. He has many pretty gemstones and opals. My friends and I went to Wollemi gems today and were incredibly disappointed by the service. We asked the man behind the counter how much a pair of earrings were and he made a snide remark about them being very expensive. Assuming that we couldn’t afford them. Awful service. And he was French not even Australian. Shameful service.
Fantastic store, a must-visit for any trip to Katoomba. Owner is passionate & knowledgeable collector. My partner and I almost purchased an engagement ring, but then struggled to choose between all the great options. Planning another trip to Katoomba in the coming weeks to finally lock in the purchase. (If the owner sees this - apologies for not coming back as promised. But we'll be back soon!)
