We loved Pass Creek Yurt! My husband and I were celebrating my 70th birthday. We wanted a place of peace and quiet away from people. This was perfect! The yurt is well furnished with beds and pillows, propane stove which heats up water very quickly, and the kitchen was equipped with more pans, dishes and utensils than some vacation rentals we've stayed in. Pass Creek Yurt was the perfect winter getaway for a backcountry ski trip. The snow was phenomenal—deep, light, and well-preserved on the north-facing, low-angle trees, making for excellent laps right from the yurt. A very well stocked yurt. AT skiing in the area was excellent as it had recently snowed. Would have given it 5 stars except that the vertical ladder going up to the outhouse was difficult, and hard to climb as it was just 2x4"s set perpendicularly and not flat. (no proper tread) Also waaay too wide so you couldn't hold on to the rails with both hands! Shoddy work.
