After relocating to Springfield, VA, I had my third wonderful experience at Wolansa Salon. My stylist Minnie took amazing care of my natural hair. She really listened to my concerns and recommended deep conditioning treatments and roller sets to give my hair a break from my usual Dominican blowouts and pressing iron. Always an amazing time here! So glad I found this place! The sisters are SO sweet and soooo incredible at what they do. I am naturally curly besides when I get a trim and they always use one pass, low heat to maintain my curls but give me a flawless and even trim. Will never go anywhere else. Can recommend enough!

Wolansa and her sister Mennie are some of the best beauticians in the DMV. I've been going to them for over 20 years. They are known for their excellent skills and preventing hair damage. I highly recommend them .
I was pleased with the service and the outcome of it, but not with the pricing. The website lists a price range but I was charged double! When I asked about it, they said that the website is old and doesn’t reflect their current pricing, which is that the starting price to style natural hair is $70. What’s weird is that some of the recent reviews before mine reflect the price range ($40-$60) found on website so I’m confused… This is a dishonest business practice and website pricing should’ve been respected.
