I am forever grateful for the community and support WNY Compassion Connection provides. Grief can be isolating and painful, and the people at the center are understanding and empathetic because they know loss too.

I lost my daughter less than 2 years ago and Compassion Connection has given me hope I never thought possible. My grief has been overwhelming and I often find myself in “fight or flight” or completely paralyzed. Compassion Connection has a warm atmosphere that is very calming to my overstimulated senses and the volunteers are extremely compassionate. I remember my first meeting last fall. This agency is the most amazing and supportive organization. My son has struggled with coping and moving forward when he lost his best friend to overdose. This facility has helped by giving him a place to feel at home and a better understanding of what the grieving process looks like. They have also given him the opportunity to complete his internship for his MSW program and have been nothing but professional.

Compassion Connection is a pioneer in healing from grief. As you walk through the doors you become aware of what they have to offer. Supportive and knowledgeable staff, programs and groups tailored to situations, but more importantly a sense of calm that you didnt know could exist at such a difficult time.
