At St. Anthony's I've had surgery, had to go to the Emergency Department, and had Outpatient blood work. I have no complaints about the hospital's services. The only thing the hospital needs is some sprucing up. From what I've seen of it, they need more cheerful colors other than brown.
HORRIBLE!!! Took our 3yo in to the ER because she injured her left arm. We all though she may have dislocated her elbow. Xrays were taken of her elbow & wrist and we were told there were no visible injuries and follow up with pedi ortho in the AM (Dr Barbara Sigrest). Turns out the ortho they recommended (Dr Juliano) doesn't see children her age and also wasn't available. DON'T GO!! I would't even give this pathetic excuse for a hospital one star but you have to at least put one. I went to the emergency room when I was 5 months pregnant because I passed out. They were beyond awful. The nurses told me they couldn't find a heart beat of the baby and didn't think it was still alive, turned out that the nurse wasn't using the machine correctly. They tested me for every drug and decease in the book because no one bother to look up my medical history, so now I've been charged hundreds and hundreds ... read more
If you find yourself in the ER of this hell hole, get up, call a cab, and go to Vassar. This is THE world hospital on the face of the earth. Some lame PA just deafened my right ear which is now bleeding after what should have been a routine removal of a large obstruction of ear wax. This place, and its affiliate "Benedictine" SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN by the Health Department. If I could give negative stars, I'd give 100.
Hi I have not uses the bariatric serves,,,I go to the clinic at St Francis,,I have tried SO hard to loose weight,,,the dr never agrees with anything I mention...I get a news letter,,,I was reading it a few min ago,,,,it stated that some have the surgery and the diabetic 2 is gone,,after loosing some and dieting..I was at my kidney dr a few weeks ago and hes telling me to loose weight and kept mentioning dyalis(spelled wrong) I want to live a ling time,,,,I have tried SOOOOO many diets...and of course they dont work..Im 53 ye... read more

The billing dept. has in the past billed me and the insurance company. They are not helpful at all even refuse to work out billing questions with different departments of the hospital. I have recieved a charity for services in one department and have bill's sent to collection agencies in the billing dept. They will request financial information from you and lose it repeataly. I don't have one good thing to say about the financial end of this hospital. I believe they double bill insurance companys and patients for the same se... read more
If you have ever seen the movie Doc Hollywood with Michael J. Fox, you know what I'm talking about. I am surprised there are no reviews here. I am a NYCer born and raised. Moved to the country to give the babies a better life without the hussle and bussle of the city. Since I have been here, I have been to St. Anthony Community Hospital many times.
