When I first went there back in 2021 I was having chest pains and everyone there were professional and polite. And since then every time I had some kind of appointment they treated me very well. When I left 2024 I haven't had to same level of care that I got since. Being in NJ the VA care is so lacking and I miss my Blue team care!

Been trying to get an apt for about a year, it's always 'we'll call you back in 24hrs, but then they call during work and I miss it, then I call back and again get told they'll call me back in 24-48. Somehow they treat their apt line like it's a sacred department you can't get transferred to directly. The one time I was able to get through, AGAIN, I was told they had to call the providers and they would get back to me... My last apt was over a year ago and virtual..... Made several visits to the ER here over the years & every visit has been a 5+ hour wait. Terrible communication with the staff that works the front desk. Today I’ve been here for 6hrs & I’m being told I cannot get a Doctor’s Excuse saying I was here to be seen without going back to a room but they are continuing to push me further down the list. Each visit gets longer & worse everytime I come.

Don’t bother. They’re rude, not well educated, and lord forbid you actually need to be seen soon because you will either spend an entire day in the ER or wait weeks/months for an appointment.
