Feeling blindsided by this business—I asked twice prior to scheduling my appointment if this business was in network, and it was confirmed by the front desk staff that my insurance was indeed in network. I attend the appointment, and later receive a bill from them saying that it was not. I called, they say not to worry, that the billing department will file pre-authorization retroactively, and it’s denied therefore I must pay out of pocket. Shady business practice.
The doctor is nice but they have the most shady business practices!!! I received a $1000 worth Of bills a year later. I asked countless of times if they were in network and they told me they were. I’ve tried to resolve the bills many times and they keep saying they’ll run it by their “billing department”. They are hardly in the office and are not covered by United.
