Doc was a cool guy. There was a medical deferral for diabetes. After several months I received the authorization from AA. For weeks I tried to reach his office but never got a call back. I went in and was told that his staff was out, try later. After several calls I went in again, and did reach his staff via telephone. The agreement was to bring in the auth, and they would try to reach him on his vacation. He wasn’t returning until after the expiration date.
