We visited Witches Brew Coffee House and were so excited to find a place like this so close to where we live that sounded like exactly our vibe. Unfortunately, the experience was so unwelcoming that we left without ordering anything. Both the female staff member with long hair at the front and the tall male waiter working this past Wednesday October 7th at night were extremely rude and condescending towards us. I’ve been there many times, and yesterday may be the last time. We got there and there was an hour and a half wait…. The host was not friendly and did not want to put our name down on the list he told us repeatedly to go to the counter and order something and take it to go?
My significant other night went out to eat here. When we got the bill there was a tip included. I'm guessing most people don't know that because they were still leaving cash tips. We don't appreciate having a tip automatically included in the bill. They also do this with takeout orders. We did request for the tip to be removed without an issue, but unfortunately for the servers this makes us not want to tip at all and we won't be coming back.
You can join the waitlist before you get there and text your eta for when you arrive which is nice. Ive been multiple times for the past 5+ years and every single time, no matter who I got with, the woman who is usually hosting is always super rude. She had Locs in her hair at some point and im not sure if she still did this time as I avoid eye contact from the anxiety she causes. She legit always makes the experience horrible. Simply had a question, tried to ask the male server with longer hair 10/2 10:15 PM simply tried to ask him a question and he refused to let me get the answer out and said he doesn’t know the answer to my question and told me to go stand at the host stand with an awful attitude and stood there for 10 minutes with no host to show.
