When I was diagnosed with rectal cancer, this doctor told me the only option was surgery with a permanent colostomy, leaving me devastated. I got a second opinion and was treated successfully with proton radiation therapy, no surgery, no colostomy, and today I am tumor-free. Patients deserve to hear all their options. Taking away hope when treatments exist is unacceptable.
What an amazing doctor. I’ve had 2 procedures in the last month. Zero pain or discomfort. Fixed the problem and another that I didn’t know about. He actually called personally 2 days after surgery to check up. Very gentle and a sincerely nice man.
