Jamie Garza (NP) at Wiseman in central Austin has been a great PCP for me. I appreciate her willingness to think outside the box to try new medicines/options and her responsiveness on the patient portal. I'd recommend her and Wiseman to anyone looking for quality care that's more than quick visits and scripts.
It appears that the Wiseman team makes the minimum effort to do their jobs, and does not have any structure in place to follow through on care. I would not recommend this service. 1. No one has ever picked up the phone when I have called, regardless of which location 2. The practitioner went home early on the day of my first appointment, but I wouldn't have known because they sent me an email asking me to call. DO NOT GO HERE. This was my primary care provider. I needed emergency surgery on my hand and needed a referral asap. I called and left voicemails, no call back. About 4 BlueCross agents called them as well, no answer. I walked into office, and they told me it would be 5 days for them to process basic new patient paperwork. They stared at me blanky and offered zero help. I was on the phone with BlueCross that wanted to talk to the secretary, but she wouldn't talk with BlueCross.
