Ms. Melissa is wonderful! My daughter loved her and looked forward to her weekly appointments. Each time she came home so proud to show us what she learned. Melissa is very efficient, welcoming, and an expert at what she does. We learned a lot along the way too.
Ms. Melissa is amazing! She improved my son’s pronunciation significantly in a very short amount of time. My son loved seeing Ms. Melissa and had a truly great time working with her. If it was up to my him, we would keep going to Ms. Melissa indefinitely.
If you are looking for speech therapy, Melissa is a master in this field. My son has totally transformed in the time he has seen Melissa. She also gave me the tools I needed to be able to work with him at home, so his therapy doesn’t stop at her office, but continues throughout his life. She provides her clients with ideas to keep the work up at home, and the changes are noticeable! After years of working with different therapists, I feel extremely fortunate to have found Ms.Melissa! My child has never been happier to work with someone and she’s never been more compliant with therapy. I can see how hard she’s working to impress Ms.Melissa, and I know first hand that not every therapist can have such a special bond with a child. I trust and highly recommend her for speech therapy!!
I highly recommend Melissa! My two year old with Down syndrome has been working with her for 6 months now and has made such great progress. Melissa is fun and engaging and knows how to get his buy-in and follow his lead when needed and then make him work. He absolutely adores Miss Melissa. She is also very good at helping the family with clear, actionable strategies to use at home to encourage communication on a daily basis and work towards goals.
