Y'all need some emergency vehicle driving lessons
I was staying at an air bnb on vacation and the neighbor comes over asking to use my phone to call 911 his wife was having chest pains. I called and this ems station staff was quick to respond. I heard the sirens and I assumed help was on the way but boy was I mistaken. The EMTs got out of their truck and one went inside to the patient but the other 2 went to this dirt patch on the side of the house, set 2 foam pads down to sit on and got the defibrillator out and put the paddles on the dirt and zapped it a few times. Sooo, almost a week after my accident and I finally get around to writing about this amazing team! Last Saturday I had the most awkward accident where a horse fell, and stepped through my left leg, pinned me against a wall, shattering and dislocating my left ankle. We had to call for transportation and Wise County EMS showed up within minutes. The amazing team showed up and were able to move me and stabilize my “floppy leg” with minimal pain.
