Kids liked the lagoon, pretty much at your own risk with no employees, the older kids (and some odd adults) pretty much make it their own. Saw a turtle in the water. Stayed on a Thursday night at a tent site, the farms sprinkler system ran all night, very loud and annoying. Pool was nice. Tubing was nice. Could use a place to swim in the river, they have the tubing landing area, but not really a swimming place. Just came back home from here. It will be on my do not come back to list. Campsites are in the middle of a field. No trees nothing. Mini golf and pool was included but had to pay $8.00 a day to use the lagoon. Never saw any staff people for the entire 5 days we stayed there. Just plain SUCKED!!!
So much fun. We have been here 3 times this year.
Worst experience tubing ever. The owners laughed at us and mocked us for being upset over our terrible experience after being stuck in a storm. I have never had worse customer than I did at the Wisconsin Riverside Resort.
First time here and very disappointed... will be finding other camp grounds in the future. First, I really wanted a site with water and electric, was told they were sold out...I saw at least 3 empty sites after we were all settled in. Second, I called several times with questions regarding the river and was never told I HAD to reserve beforehand. So we go to try to get tubes and was told they were sold out, no canoes either.
