DO NOT RENT FROM PAUL. Paul, you stated in a letter to me to please write some words so here you go. My daughter and her infant lived in one of his rentals....things that were broken were fixed but not correctly. The tub leaked hot water from day one, was "fixed" 3 times, still leaking when moved out. The ceiling in the bathroom was rotting due to a leak that was also "fixed" and eventually had pieces falling onto the floor. It was black mold...he was advised of this, it was painted over. How are these people especially Paul still allowed to rent to people is my question. My mom and step dad are looking for a place to rent for a year and saw a ad for a nice 2 bedroom in Waukesha so they went and checked it out. The rental agreement clearly stated how much the security deposit would be and how much the credit checks were. It was supposed to be $25 each for a credit check but he asked for $75 each for a credit check. Then he asked for double the amount for security deposit and added a bunch of fees. Paul was great to rent from. If you respect him and his property, he will respect you and reward you for it. I got my full deposit back because I treated my unit as if it were my own. I would happily rent from him again.
