Unfortunately my experience was like most of the other reviews. The communication was horrible. When I did get to talk to staff it was not helpful. I truly believe they had no intention of approving my claim. I’ve had 3 workers comp approved surgeries for the same joint over the last 20 years. All were awarded a PPD. My latest surgery was a joint replacement. My orthopedic surgeon said it was related to the previous injuries and subsequent surgeries. WMMIC only exists to deny as much of your claim as possible. They will talk down to you, they will ignore you, they will ignore medical advice you've been given by actual doctors who examined you. They make getting hurt at work hurt even more. You get injured a second time by their callousness and disregard for doing anything that doesn't benefit WMMIC. Sickening people to do business with.

Extremely unprofessional. They will do whatever it takes to not cover your claim. They will also lie to you over the phone. Only communicate via Email so you have a paper trail.
