I had bariatric surgery back in 2021. I appreciate this facility helping me through the process and it changed my life. The problem I am having is that I went for my yearly endoscopy and was told the doctor did not take out enough stomach. I appreciate I did not gain my weight back but I am still overweight and cannot lose anymore no matter what I do.
I attended the Winthrop Bariatric group free seminar to get educated about the various weight loss surgeries that are available. The seminar was very informative and the physicians answered everyone’s questions. There was even a post op gastric bypass patient who answered questions about his experience. Great presentation seminar! The problem is that these doctors have such a large volume of patients on a waiting list just for the 1st visit you can wait 2-3 months to see the doctor!
