knowledgeable staff, huge inventory and very reasonable prices that certainly surprised me. My advice, before you buy anywhere, including Lowes or Home Depot, check with this place first. Did my kitchen and bathrooms over and was amazed at selection and price.
They steered me away from the high quality MTI tub and shower base that I went there to buy to MAXX products saying they were better and less expensive - in my opinion not true. Unfortunately I found out the hard way. The MAXX shower base was a piece of junk - the acrylic was scabbed to a piece of OSB - that was all it had for reinforcement. I returned it, waited two months for a refund and then was only refunded about 50% since it was special order they charged a restocking fee and shipping - what a rip off. Cost me $250 fo... read more
Avon Supply is worth the trip! I live on the South Shore of Boston and it's worth the 1/2 hour to make sure that I'm getting the help that I need. They deliver to my area on Fridays and I know that if I was desperate, they would make a special trip. Their stock is unbelievable! I use brands like Buderus and Toto, which they keep in stock, their selection is huge, their warehouse is huge. obviously I can't say enough for them. Excellent customer service and product knowledge. I really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere with lots of hands on experience. They also offer a variety of plumbing faucets and fixtures.
my father started doing business with simon's supply in the 1940's & when i took over the plumbing business in the 1980's i continued because simon's has always been able to get the materials on time & get the parts needed for equipment we need, the staff there are very knowledgeable & take care of you quickly and boiler delivery never leaves us waiting.
