Mr. Landry is so out of touch with cost, he used 1980 cost data to value our home. Whereas I cannot argue with his appraisal based on "sales comparison approach", only because it gives him leeway to make subjective assumptions, I can certainly challenge his "cost approach", as I am in the design and construction field. In my case, his cost figures, which he claims are based on input from "local builder estimates", are absolutely ludicrous.
