The management at Winnetka Village was terribly unprofessional during the initial visit to sign the paperwork. Randi, the Apartment manager, talked about her ex-boyfriend, her breakup, and all her life problems during the signing process. After moving out, I’ve tried multiple times to reach out to Winnetka Village to get the remainder of my security deposit back, for MONTHS, and they’ve either dodged my text or refused to return emails to the attorney general’s office regarding the remaining balance of my security deposit. Moved out of your old apartment today and our move in day was today to move in winnetka village. After everyone’s cars are packed up, I get a call that the manager wants a co-signer on the apartment. No one wants to co-sign for an apartment, we’ve never been asked for one. Was reassured numerous times my spouse and I should be good to move in and sign our lease. We were honest about our rental history etc but still reassured that it should all be good. This has caused a lot of emotional stress for everyone. We’re now homeles... read more
