Having somewhere to go that's close to home is a plus, and always love seeing so many different kinds of people having a good time of all ages. The staff they have there now is just outstanding.
I was born and raised in the Elgin area, right down the street from South Elgin. At the time we were Elgin Unincorporated. I remember when winners used to be the local suburban video store. I love this place! Great home town bar! Amazing staff and always a fun welcoming crowd! I am never nervous to come in after work by myself because I know I'll be around awesome people and not feel awkward showing up alone! I couldn't ask for a better place! We started going here on 4th of July because it was cheap and close to home. We have spent a lot of money there between drinks, pizzas, and the jukebox. But we always found the clientele kind of seedy. Last night was no different. A man in the bar was trying to pick a fight with my husband no matter how much he tried to get out of it. I defended my husband, and then the woman with him started verbally attacking me. The people working at the bar did nothing.
