I recently enjoyed 2 kayak experiences at Wingra Lake, the moonlight paddle and the sound bath; and both were awesome! Wingra staff is super friendly and helpful, and these events were run so smoothly. So fun!
Wingra and all Madison Boats location continue to impress me season after season. I was gifted a membership three years ago and fell in love with the ease of renting. Not having to hassle with loading/unloading my own boat is a game changer. The following two years I've gotten a membership for myself, which I'm able to use for a tandem kayak and take my son along. My favorite lake to paddle on—peaceful, lush wildlife, stunning views. No motors allowed makes for the perfect zen spot to immerse yourself in the beautiful lake ecosystem. Plenty to explore, from lily pad forests to springs. Or just float in the middle of the lake and soak it all in 🪷 The staff are always friendly and helpful. Wingra Boats makes Madison summers so magical!
Great little lake. Boat rental has all sorts of body powered boats. Boat ramp for trailered boats, zero entry ramp for kayaks. Parking is good. Bonus is the GREAT food w/in walking distance. Coming back here again. Soon!
Great place! Crowded parking is the only negative!
