I was in Madison for a weekend trip and spent an evening on Lake Wingra for their full moon paddle. I did not know what to expect and had an awesome time. Snacks and cider were provided and the floating camp fires to roast S'mores was so fun! I can't wait to return next summer and bring my own paddleboard.

It was beautiful here- lots of lily pads to glide through. We arrived a few hours earlier than we had reserved and they were very accommodating.

Took our 4 year old son out there for first time, the manager was so kind and walked us through everything and made him and us feel very comfortable. we took an animal foot rowboat out and it was very nice and relaxing. Lake is easy to maneuver and even was able to jump off for a swim!

This was my first time trying SUP, I went alone and rented a SUP for the full moon event. Staff was so very friendly and knowledgeable, never made me feel rushed and answered all of my many questions kindly and thoroughly. Even with being crazy busy, everything seemed to flow quite smoothly. Only stinker was parking blocks away as a first time visitor from out of town and not knowing the area, as I had no idea how busy of a place and area this was. Obviously a very popular place, and for good reason! Would definitely return.
