This has to be the worst experience I’ve ever had staying at a hotel. Although the front desk are friendly, no one seems to understand anything I’m saying in English, which is extremely frustrating. Although check in was good, as I was able to check in early, and the appearance of the hotel seemed great, the actual hotel itself doesn’t function well. Only 1 elevator barely work and I almost got stuck in that one, none of the ice machines worked on my floor, I was on the 2nd floor. They didn’t have anything showing on the lob... read more
Facility was not clean and was in disrepair. "Free" breakfast was nothing more than bananas and little boxes of cereal. Pool was in horrible condition and not swimmable. Property was not maintained at all. Do not stay here.
Old and outdated, beautiful lobby. Not enough staff. The security guard also puts out the breakfast in the morning. Cereal, muffins and fruit.
Our toilet broke after one use and it took us an hour to fix it.
This was the absolute worst "hotel" I have ever stayed in. I don't even want to give it one star - it deserves NONE. It was filthy, elevators were down the entire weekend and no one spoke English at the front desk. The Wyndham and the Wingate decided to allow all the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo traffic to park in the parking lot so the people who were ACTUALLY staying there had no where to park...even though they paid $30-$50 per night to SELF PARK in a dirt parking lot.
