The people were very friendly and the lobby looked pretty. However upon entering We were hit with an aroma. We weren't sure if someone was cooking or if it was incense but it was overpowering in the lobby. Not good if you are super sensitive to fragrance. The room was okay-ish. It's like they tried to do a 10-second tidy in their remodel. Example: there was a new bowl in the bathroom but it was wobbly and not installed properly. The paint was chipping in the bedroom. I made last minute reservations and everything about my stay was great. Sarah the FD clerk was friendly and helpful.
Everyone at Wingate was welcoming the staff is polite and Sarah was nice and courteous i will come again thanks
