Several times a month my boyfriend and I do date night which includes a good meal and a motel room. Sometimes we stay local. We normally choose between Comfort Inn and Wingate. This time we chose wrong by choosing Wingate. The shower would not shut off while the tub filled, the TV constantly became pixelated and the room smelled. Booked and paid for a reservation, arrived at the location to see they are doing construction and were closed this was on 12-30-22 it is now 2/16/23 and they still refuse to acknowledge the fact they were allowing bookings and will not refund my money.
This hotel is in a safe area off of the expressway but it is filthy and run down. Mold all over the bathroom, carpets dirty, workout room didn’t have 1 piece of working equipment, pool is broken, breakfast was minimal. Terrible hotel. Stay at the Hampton Inn or Marriott next door because the location is great!!
There is No Pool. Hasn't been for quite awhile. It wld b really nice if they fixed it, or take that part off website. False Advertising
It was clear that they had not changed the sheets/pillow cases prior to us booking the room. The carpet was dirty and the sheets had stains on them. The shower head was broken and held up by plastic wrap, while the water never reached above luke warm temperature. Also the tub drain was stopped up so it was like standing in a pool while showering. Awful hotel.
