I have never left a review before, but as someone who reads and values them when booking, I feel compelled to write one for Wingate by Wyndham St. Louis/Fenton. This place is not clean. I called two days prior to let them know I would be arriving late, as a hopeful reminder to have a clean room given there were some poor reviews here. The room was clean. The bed and pillows were not comfortable. The breakfast was sparse at 6:15am and there were no plates only bowls. I would not recommend but if you need a hotel close to major highways then this hotel might work well for you. Its near hwy 44, 270 and 141. There is a cracker barrel close to this location if you prefer a good breakfast.

This place is disgusting. Stinks to high heaven of cigarette smoke. Was switched rooms and assured it wouldn’t smell, but it was worse. The only time and place it didn’t smell like cigarettes was next to the overpowering smell of carpet cleaners running. I recommend you find somewhere else unless you have no sense of smell
