This hotel ranks in our top 3 of the worst places we've ever stayed. We should have done a better job reading the reviews before booking. We chose it based on location, but that shouldn't have been a good enough reason. It's clear that this is an older hotel that has had the Wingate by Wyndham name slapped on it. What an embarrassment! We had a long day of travel, so first order of business was to use the restroom... where I immediately saw hairs that had been left behind. Absolutely horrible. Hair all in the bathroom floor and shower. Unfold a towel to dry off, guess what, hair inside of the towel. The carpet was filthy. 2 of the 4 pillows had nasty stains on them and also the comforter. I would recommend driving as far as you have to, to get a room somewhere else. Worst hotel experience ever.
We checked in late at night. As it was a last minute trip. The first room they gave us was still dirty and hadn't been cleaned yet. The bed were not made and there was still stuff everywhere. 2nd room they gave us, the tub was dirty, had hair all in it and the faucet was leaking. The room smelled very heavily of mold amd just felt damp. Woke up with a sore throat and Upon further inspection in the morning, the ceiling had mold on it and the curtains were completely covered in mold.
