The staff, especially the nice hostess/manager at check in. She went above and beyond to do her best to make me feel like a matter. I needed a cup that fit the lids in the breakfast area and she tore the place apart looking for the cup, and she found it. Most places just say sorry and don't make the effort. She did. She made me feel like a mattered.
I’m trying to figure out how I’m gonna have enough time to tell you how bad this place is. The location is great and the water was hot. The rooms were not clean. They are a classic example of putting lipstick on a pig. This place is pretty Janky. It looks like they spent zero dollars and got some paint and supplies from the used store. Wingate by Wyndham in Los Alamos. I'll chime in here, Sonia really earns the extra star here! She and her staff were so friendly and helpful during our 4 night stay there. Breakfasts were delicious. The room was spacious and clean. We slept like royalty in dark, quiet comfort on the third floor. Felt secure at all times. I cannot think of any single thing that was not just wonderful, but even if there were anything, it would be easy to overlook, as we felt we were staying with family!
Pretty awful experience overall. No elevator working. No one cleaning rooms so no rooms available on the first floor. This was at Christmas time. Hoping someone would offer a refund or discount or voucher for a different Wyndham in the future. Can’t get anyone to talk to me. One bright spot; the front desk person was so apologetic and sweet. Really felt bad for him.
Mix feelings about this one. Location is as good as you’ll get to the slopes. Rooms were clean, but there are NO clothing rods in ANY of the rooms. Breakfast was perfectly fine. Sonia at the desk was great and had a wonderful personality. Unfortunately Sonia couldn’t be at the desk 24/7 lol. The third night my girlfriend tried to use the hairdryer, it didn’t work.
