The keys do not work properly. We had to get 3 replacement keys in less than 24 hours. The front desk staff were friendly and tried their best to be accommodating. They told us not to have the key near any electronic devices, but even when we kept the key separate from everything the key stopped working so we could not access the laundry room, gym, pool, or side entrances. The hotel is very run-down. The furniture is old and scratched. The hallway carpets are torn, with holes, and dirty, very dirty. The room floors are dirty; you can feel the sand when you walk. The walls and ceilings are cracked (Room 238). We didn't have shampoo or soap in the bathroom; I had to go down to reception to get them. The air conditioning doesn't work at night; it only blows warm air, and it works during the day, which is crazy.
