Booked two rooms for our family vacation. When I got to the hotel they said they only put me down for one. So they demanded I pay $40 extra because the manager said it was their policy to fleece customers if they didn’t have the room reserved ahead of time. They had plenty of rooms as it was off season. I literal stood at the counter and booked my room through booking.com so they couldn’t shaft me. Watch your backs.
I love the people and the country setting
Unfortunately, i felt that the internet access was sketchy at times. The rooms are well done and very clean. Breakfast was great!
This is a very nice hotel. Affordable, clean and quiet. Except for us rowdy Penn State fans on game days! :) My husband and I have been staying here for years for the Penn State games. It's only about 40 mins to the stadium. (depending on traffic) There are many other things that make this hotel great. The bed is comfortable. I know that beds are subjective because everyons sleep preferences are different. Both my husband and I are side sleepers and this bed is comfortable to us. The layout is easy.
