This review is going to sound rude, but I do not mean it this way. But I have always valued honesty. First thing first, until they figure out online payments. Do not reserve your room online. We did that MONTHS ago, before the new owner bought the hotel. (This is nothing against the owner) However, the payments never were transferred to the current owner so we had to pay out of pocket and are fighting for our refund. None of the hotel sites list the deposit like other places do, which can be inconvenient. The A/C in the room barely works! Nearly 100 degrees. The pool area is just as hot as it is outside. And the water is hot! Vending on every floor is out of order. House keeping only comes of you are checking out, so there will be a pile up of linen and trash unless you take it yourself. For what we paid for a weeks time, I am highly disappointed and will not be booking any future stays with this location and/or any Wingate.

This hotel replied to the comment here about health and safety concerns with the suggestion that others have not complained. I can attest to that not being true. My room was disgusting, the entire hotel was nasty, in disrepair and foul. I would recommend to the previous reviewer to call the health department. In fact, I might too.

If you want and to reminisce about your deployments to Afghanistan or have a desire to see what section 8 housing is like this is the place for you. The pictures were not at all representative of the extremely poor condition of the property.
