I have worked for Dr. Wine since August 2017 as a Receptionist and Holistic Health Coach. I have also been a patient of Dr. Wine's since September 2017. To say there is no one like her is an understatement! I have Hashimoto's hypothyroidism and was on Synthroid and Levothyroxine for years and never felt great. Not only do I work with Dr Wine, but I am her patient as well. I know what goes on from the other side of the desk and I see how hard Dr Wine works to help her patients get to the root cause of their health issues and get them on a road to wellness. That’s why I trust her with my own thyroid and health concerns.
Pros: Physician treats with NDT and is proficient with general thyroid and hormone health. Office is responsive and helpful. Office staff is friendly. Provides super bill to bill your insurance for some reimbursement. Provides phone consults for long-distance patients. Cons: Not well-versed in complex thyroid issues such as pooling and how to treat high RT3. Does not treat Hashimotos with LDN. Don't let her smiling face fool you. I too thought she cared, that's before she lashed out at me for not getting the cancellation policy. Her new receptionist is very condescending and don't try to leave a message to cancel, because apparently they don't get those either. I've never had a Dr speak to me in such harsh tones and cost me so much. She is not worth the drive or money, unless of course you don't mind being someone she feels she has to use a bully mentality on to get her point across. She can take her so called bus... read more
Was given false information about the policies of this office from Maura. I knew this was to good to be true. Providing quality patient care is not important. Making money on the other hand is very important.
Best experience ever! I finally have an actionable plan to help heal my body after 20 years of incorrect medicating, diagnosis and "being in range". Dr. Wine is very confident, experienced and passionate about her knowledge and experience. The office staff is very encouraging and caring. Beyond thankful I found them, finally hope for healing and better living 🌈
My experience with Sara Wine was very satisfying. I felt heard and my concerns were addressed. There was a thorough effort and exploration to best identify and explore my concerns.
