About

Wine Country Inn is designed to be a romantic getaway location, as it overlooks hills and vineyards. The rooms are all individually themed, and all of them are characterized by an ocean of colors and luxurious Old World style. Enjoy a nightcap by your private fireplace or a comfortable sleep on one of the huge beds. The antiques and the quilts and faux-painted walls will make your stay a pleasing one and the service is extremely attentive.

Excellent We had a graet stay at the Wine Country Inn. We stayed in room 20 which is a large room with king bed and a beautiful bathroom. We enjoyed our stay overlooking the vineyards. This is a quiet spot and definatley not a place if you are looking to party. The innkeepers keep this place relaxed and peaceful.

Wine Country Inn This bed and breakfast is one of a kind. The staff is truly wonderful. The rooms are small but cute. The food is all homecooked. I can't speak highly enough about here.

Stunning views and warm hospitality in Wine Country. – This St. Helena inn is homey, family-run and casual, but don't expect some battered old B&B. It sits on a little hill surrounded by stunning vineyards and mountains, has a sun-drenched pool and hot tub and beautiful landscaping--luscious flowers, shady willows and stone pathways. The rooms are quaintly luxurious, especially the cottages, which are as big as small houses and have huge patios that open onto the vineyards. Included with the room is the Wine Country Inn's famous breakfast with make-your-own-waffles, a sumptuous spread of afternoon snacks and wine, and the kind of warm, down-to-earth hospitality only a family-run establishment can provide.

Home away from home in the heart of Napa Valley – I've just returned from my 3rd visit to the Wine Country Inn in 3 years and already miss it. The WCI is everything I love about a bed & breakfast type hotel (comfortable yet stylish accommodations, conveniently located, personal recommendations on what to do & see, etc.) but none of the things I dislike . Their breakfasts are wonderful - no going hungry here! Each morning they have a different (delicious!) egg souffle to try, plus make it yourself waffles, cereals, amazing homemade granola, fresh fruit, home-made muffins, etc. You serve yourself, so breakfast is at your pace. Tables abound through the large comfortable dining area, which includes an outdoor seating area overlooking the vineyards. Engaging with other guests is at your discretion &certainly not forced (as some B&B's are known to do). Each afternoon a local vintner is invited in to provide a wine tasting for guests and a large spread of tempting appetizers are provided. (Caution - the apps are so good it is possible to ruin your dinner - and w/ all the amazing restaurants in the area - you'll want limit your intake of apps). The grounds of the WCI are absolutely stunning. The property is nestled into a vineyard and nearly every view overlooks part of the vineyard. The accommodations range from small, but serviceable (and tastefully appointed) rooms to cottages with large private terraces. The staff is extremely friendly and will go out of there way to make sure all of your needs are met. After just the first visit you're made to feel like family. Joyce on the evening shift is one of my personal favorites. The WCI also offers a wonderful amenity - evening taxi service to a rather extensive list of local restaurants. After a day of wine tasting, not having to drive is more than just a luxury. Janelle the primary driver is loads of fun with lots of stories. If you visit, look out for "Bob" the Cat, a super-friendly Manx who just adds to the overall hominess.

A homey inn just off the beaten path in the Napa wine country. – The Scene If you're looking for an escape from city living, this is the perfect place to flee to. The views are amazing, overlooking the rolling hills and vineyards of St. Helena. As for the warm hospitality, it's as down to earth as the setting. The Details Twenty-four bedrooms are done in a quaint mix of antiques, family heirlooms and handmade quilts. In some, the country ambience is enhanced with canopy beds and faux-painted walls. Size and amenities vary widely--choose from a basic room with a bed to a suite with a large sitting area, fireplace and views of the rural landscape. All accommodations come with CD players and private baths. Noticeably missing are TVs, but this is deliberate. You're here to get away from it all, remember?
