Spectacular sailing on a wonderful boat. Tony was an excellent captain, and made sure we were comfortable with the speed and style of sailing. He filled the sails non-stop and we got to see a large swath of the waters around Amelia Island, and a lot of dolphins. Tony is particularly knowledgeable about the history of many of the area's landmarks, too.

Fabulous relaxing morning sailing with Captain Tony. Learned a lot while taking in the fresh air and scenery. Highly recommended! Can't wait to come back with our family.

Came down with my wife for a week on Amelia Island and got a wild hair to get on the water! Windward was very accommodating to our schedule and interests (time, place, sightseeing) and our captain was very knowledgeable while bringing some laughs to the boat as well! Overall great day of sailing and sightseeing!

Today was my 3rd trip with Windward Sailing. Captain Tony is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We stayed out past our scheduled time to watch a nuclear submarine launch. Great boats, stories, and conversation. Highly recommended.

My wife and I live in St Simons Is, Georgia, but so glad we found Tony and his team of instructors at Windward. After making a sailboat purchase, we were both anxious to set sail but needed hands on training soon. We scheduled the back-to-back ASA 101 and 103 classes over a weekend and two days, and very pleased to have John Drake as our instructor. We found him great to work with through the in-class time as well as on the water. We were so pleased with his personality and style of instruction, we scheduled some follow up t... read more

Took their diesel engine class and feel so much better about having to do my own routine maintenance on a marine diesel engine. I'm guessing it is going to save me hundreds (if not thousands) if dollars in the future. Both Captain Charley and Captain Tony were so helpful and their experience really shines through. I highly recommend taking a class with Windward Sailing if you're serious about taking up this amazing hobby.

Debbie and I have sailed boats big and small since 1979 but we do not have any of the sailing credentials from ASA. I took a short course on a Sunfish in college and then "learned by doing." We did the liveaboard ASA 101 Basic Keelboat, ASA 103 Coastal Cruising, ASA 104 Bareboat Chartering, and closed out with a docking certification. Wanted to learn from the best and after watching Tony Jones and seeing the challenging current/tide conditions in the Amelia River and outside in the Atlantic, I knew Windward Sailing in Novemb... read more
