Like many Realtors, I had clients and friends of clients who lost their homes in the January 2025 Eaton fires. We did everything we could to help, calling anyone who might have housing available. Wonderful place to live. Beautiful grounds, great onsite staff, wonderful neighborhood to walk in and it’s close to everything- Walk to Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, coffee houses, Metro, Petsmart. restaurants, shopping. Close to Old Town Pasadena, Art Center, Cal Tech and JPL.
Windrose Place has been good for my family and me. The front office and long-serving staff deliberately cultivates an atmosphere of community that is contagious to the residents. The maintenance crew is friendly and helpful, quick to respond to issues and keeping things humming along. As a pet friendly rental facility, there is a natural affinity between residents and their canine family members. This review is long overdue, but I just had to share what a great experience I had living at Windrose Place! I originally chose Windrose because it looked so cozy and charming, and it totally lived up to that first impression. The location is amazing—super close to Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Old Town Pasadena, and Paseo Colorado. Tons of great restaurants, shops, and if you're a coffee lover like me, there are plenty of excellent cafés nearby. We called this place home for 6+ years and brought our first child home to Windrose Place. Our experience living here is unforgettable and we couldn’t be more thankful to the staff and manager, Pete. They were extremely responsive to questions and requests and willing to to do anything to make your apartment more comfortable. We were sad to leave, but grew out of the space as our family is growing.
